Product Description
Fenugreek leaves is used as a herb (dried or fresh leaves) in all curries and dry preparations. ShreeGun Kasoori Methi is procured from the specially cultivated farms, that are known for its high-quality standards. With a distinctive flavour and aroma, fenugreek leaves are frequently encountered in the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent.
Usage
Use ShreeGun Kasoori Methi as per the directions given below:
1. Methi Parantha or Roti or Pooris: Soak Kasoori Methi leaves in warm water for 15 minutes. Drain and mix with flour and make dough.
2. Aloo Methi: Soak Kasoori Methi leaves in warm water for 20 minutes, drain and rinse thoroughly. Peel 3 potatoes (400g) and cut into cubes of 2-3 cms. In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil and add the potatoes along with salt to taste. Cook for 15 minutes. Now add soaked Methi leaves, ½ tsp of ShreeGun Gold Garam Masala and ½ cup of water. Mix well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or till the potatoes are soft.
3. For Curries: Mash a handful dried Kasoori Methi leaves with hands and sprinkle over curry dishes.
