Vegetable Biryani



  • 2 cups Basmati Rice (soaked)
  • 2 cups Assorted Vegetables (such as carrots, potatoes, peas, onions, mushrooms, cauliflower, etc)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons ShreeGun Biryani / Pulao Masala
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Paste
  • ¼ cup chopped Coriander leaves
  • ¼ cup chopped Mint leaves

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a pressure cooker, add the oil and heat it on medium flame.

2. Once the oil is hot, add the vegetables and fry for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Add the Basmati rice, ShreeGun Biryani / Pulao Masala, salt, yogurt, ginger paste, and garlic paste and mix well.

4. Pour the water over the rice and vegetables and stir to combine.

5. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles.

6. Once the pressure is released, open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.

7. Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.

8. Serve hot with raita or with your favorite accompaniment.
