Matar Paneer


  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 200g peas, washed
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons ShreeGun Kitchen King Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.

2. Add cubed paneer and fry until it turns golden brown in color. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. In the same pan, add ginger paste and garlic paste and stir fry them for a few seconds.

4. Add peas and fry for 2 minutes.

5. Add tomato puree, ShreeGun Kitchen King Masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste and fry for a few seconds.

6. Add 1/2 cup water and let the mixture come to a boil.

7. Simmer the heat and cover the pan with a lid and cook for 10 minutes or until the peas are cooked.

8. Add the fried paneer and mix well.

9. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or chapatti.
