Chicken Pulao (One Pot)


  • 2 cups of Basmati Rice (soaked)
  • 500g Chicken (on bones, cut in small portions)
  • 1/2 cup Oil/Ghee
  • 2 tablespoon of ShreeGun Biryani / Pulao Masala
  • 1 tablespook of ShreeGun Chicken Masala
  • 2 tablespoon of ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoon of garlic paste
  • 2-3 green chillies (chopped)
  • 2 onions (sliced)
  • A handful of mint leaves (chopped)
  • A handful of coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

          Cooking Instructions:

          1. In a bowl mix together the chicken, ShreeGun Biryani / Pulao Masala, ShreeGun Chicken Masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chillies, onions, mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt.

          2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add the marinated chicken to the cooker and stir-fry for 5 minutes.

          3. Add the basmati rice to the pressure cooker and combine well. Pour in enough water to just cover the top of the rice.

          4. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles.

          5. When the pressure is released, open the lid and fluff the Chicken Pulao with a fork or spoon.

          6. Serve the Chicken Pualo hot with raita or any other accompaniment of your choice.
