Aloo Tamatar ki Sabji

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium raw potatoes, peeled and chopped into cubes
  • 3 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons ShreeGun Garam Masala
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 whole red chillies
  • 4 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt to taste


      Cooking Instructions:


      1. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker over medium-high heat.

      2. Add the cumin seeds and red chillies and fry for about 1 minute.

      3. Add the potatoes and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

      4. Add the tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes.

      5. Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt to taste and stir to combine.

      6. Add the ShreeGun Garam Masala and mix well.

      7. Add water and close the lid of the pressure cooker.

      8. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for upto 2 whsitles, or until potatoes are tender.

      8. Add the chopped coriander leaves and stir to combine.

      9. Serve hot with rice or roti or pooris.
